Arts commission interviews set

CITY HALL -- Fifteen candidates for seven openings on the newly

created Arts & Cultural Commission will be interviewed today by the

Glendale City Council.

The interviews start at 8 a.m. and will finish by 12:15 p.m. They will

be televised live on Charter Communications Cable Channel 6.

The commission will be promoting and fostering the arts in Glendale.

The 15 people who applied are Norman Mamey, Earl Sherburn, Patricia

Heisser, Iva May Carrico, Milene Chraghchian, Arlene Vidor, Karen

Schmidt, Debra Burchett-Lere, Kathleen Burke-Kelly, Martin Kagan, Paula

Gruber, Razmik Grigorian, Frank Gladstone, Jo Ness and Ruth Anson.
