Monday.
Glendale Galleria: A 23-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested Tuesday
on suspicion of writing bad checks worth $173 at the Disney store,
Nordstrom and Mervyn's, police said.
5040 San Fernando Road: A 27-year-old Eagle Rock man was arrested
Tuesday on suspicion of burglary at Home Depot, police said. The man used
two counterfeit $100 bills to buy a gift card and had two more
counterfeit $100 bills in his wallet, police said. The suspect, who works
at St. Dominics Catholic Church in Eagle Rock, told officers he got the
fake bills from an ATM and was trying to buy the gift card to reimburse
$150 he charged on a church credit card, police said.
1523 E. Colorado St.: A 36-year-old Glendale man and a 32-year-old
Glendale man were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault, police said.
The two had been fighting in the parking lot of the Manhattan Motel and
wanted each other charged with assault, police said.
1200 block of South Boynton Street: A 16-year-old Glendale boy was
arrested on suspicion of violating a court order Tuesday, police said.
The boy, who is on probation for robbery, was accused of removing the
electronic monitoring bracelet from his ankle and leaving home, police
said.
142 S. Brand Blvd.: A 15-year-old Los Angeles boy and a 14-year-old
Los Angeles boy were arrested Saturday on suspicion of shoplifting five
compact discs from Tower Records, police said.
Glendale Galleria: A 15-year-old Eagle Rock boy was arrested Saturday
on suspicion of stealing three packs of metal figurines from the Games
Workshop, police said.
Glendale Galleria: A 36-year-old South Gate woman and a 41-year-old
Southgate man were arrested Sunday on suspicion of stealing clothes, a
jacket, a comforter and a shower curtain worth a total $677 from J.C.
Penney, police said.
