Building relationships with God

LA CRESCENTA -- The First Baptist Church will devote its 10:45 a.m.

Sunday service to reflecting on how God is using ministry partners to

bring people into a relationship with Him. Jim Jouwstra will direct the

sanctuary choir.

Three ministry partner couples will share their individual ministries

at 9 a.m.

Coffee will be served at 10:15 a.m. and child care is available.

Sermon is 'Now -- The Appointed Time'

GLENDALE -- The Rev. Hugh Bell of the Central Glendale Church of

Religious Science will explore the idea of "Now - The Appointed Time" at

the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at the Glendale Masonic Temple, 244 N.

Maryland Ave.

A meditation time is offered at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served

following the service.

'Action and Reaction' is message

LA CRESCENTA -- The Rev. Bill Schirmer has selected "Action and

Reaction" as the subject of the 10 a.m. Sunday service at La Crescenta

Church of Religious Science, 4845 Dunsmore Ave. Music will be provided by

Susan and Chris Holder.

Church school is offered for young people and a brunch will follow the

service.

How to do the impossible

GLENDALE -- The Rev. Bonnie Rowsell will speak on "Only Those Who See

the Invisible Do the Impossible" at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at the

Glendale Church of Religious Science, 2146 E. Chevy Chase Drive. There

will be a 15-minute meditation at 9:30 a.m.

Children's church for ages 5-12 is at 10 a.m. Child care is provided.

'Taking Inventory' explored at service

LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- The Rev. Diana W. Hopkins will explore the

idea of "Taking Inventory" at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Church of the

Lighted Window, 1200 Foothill Blvd. The Scripture text will include 2

Corinthians 3:1-6. Steve Hill will direct the chancel choir with Robert

York on the organ and piano. Fred and Margaret Gray will greet

worshipers.

Classes begin at 10 a.m. in the Christian Education Center for kids of

all ages. A coffee hour will follow the service in Fellowship Hall.
