SADIE R. DARTLEY HOOPER LOFTUS
Sadie R. Dartley Hooper Loftus, 90, died March 8, 2000, in Glendale.
She was born July 16, 1909, in Fresno and was a longtime resident of
Glendale.
Miss Loftus worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Social
Services for 40 years. She was a deaconess and active member of the
Glendale City Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Alice Bishop and Margie Said; nephew
and wife, Byron and Lori Bishop; nephew and wife, Ron and Jean Bishop;
and John Loftus Jr., Rosemary Loftus, Hazel Said, Peter Said and Shamera
Foster.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Glendale City
Seventh-day Adventist Church. Donations may be made to the Children's
Center at Glendale City Seventh-day Adventist Church, 610 E. California Ave., Glendale, CA 91206.
