GLENDALE -- Ralphs celebrated its grand opening Tuesday night in the
Glendale Fashion Center.
The store opens to the public today and is the second to debut in the
outdoor shopping center at Glendale and Wilson avenues.
Longs Drugs is expected to open by the end of the month. Ross Dress
for Less opened last week and other stores will be opening through the
summer.
The shopping center was damaged by the 1994 Northridge earthquake and
rebuilt. The city of Glendale owns the center's parking garage, which is
expected to be completed in the next two weeks. The lower level, where
Ralphs is located, will be open today. The upper level is also open but
has limited parking because of storage.
