Chamber Orchestra in concert

BURBANK -- Burbank Chamber Orchestra will present a program of works

by Beethoven, Schumann and Mozart at its free concert at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday at the Hall of Liberty in Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.

Steven Kerstein, music director, will conduct the orchestra in

Beethoven's "Pastorale" Symphony, Robert Schumann's Concerto for Cello,

featuring universally acclaimed cellist Steven Richards, and Mozart's

Overture to "Don Giovanni."

Soloist Richards is the Burbank orchestra's principal cellist and

reviewers have praised his elegant and impassioned playing and said he

has a unique ability to make the cello sound like a hman voice.
