Conectiv to sell interest in Glendale plant

GLENDALE -- Conectiv has announced it is selling 50% of its ownership

interest in a thermal project in Glendale.

Conectiv and its joint-venture partner, Sempra Energy Solutions, has

provided chilled water to the DreamWorks SKG animation studio in Glendale

since November 1997, according to a company press release. Sempra will

acquire the 50% interest.

Conectiv is focusing on its energy and power delivery business. The

company also is a partner on a chilled water and steam system in Las

Vegas for The Venetian Hotel Resort Casino and Sands Expo & Convention

Center.
