August 16, 2000

A common feature among the numerous service clubs is a speaker or

program at the weekly club meetings. Drawing from an assortment of

interesting speakers and topics, these programs provide ample variety to

the meetings, supplementing the fellowship and reports of service

projects that are regular features.

All of the clubs depend on membership to provide the time, expertise

and funds to sustain their programs to improve our communities, and the

weekly club meetings are an excellent opportunity to introduce guests to

the organizations.

Because of the need to predict the number of attendees for seating and

food preparation, a member of the club should be contacted prior to

visiting.
