Final draft of Disney EIR released

CITY HALL -- The final draft of an environmental report on the campus

expansion of The Walt Disney Co. was released Monday by the city.

The report will be used as a tool by the Glendale Redevelopment Agency

in analyzing the project, which proposes to expand the campus from 2.4

million to 5.9 million square feet. It contains mitigation measures that

the developer would have to follow to deal with traffic and other

concerns.

The Redevelopment Agency will meet Nov. 8 to certify the report and

consider business terms of the project.

The report will be on the city's Internet site by the end of the week.
