CITY HALL -- Entries for the city's fourth annual Halloween Drawing
Contest are due Oct. 24.
Glendale Water & Power is sponsoring the contest for children 5 to 12.
Winners will be notified by phone and are invited to attend a ceremony at
the city on Oct. 26.
All drawings must be created by hand on paper up to 22 inches deep by
17 inches wide. Paper and entry forms are available at Glendale Water &
Power at the City Hall complex.
A variety of prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.
There are tickets to Magic Mountain, Knott's Berry Farm, movie passes,
and Shakey's Pizza gift certificates The sponsors are the Glendale
Employees Assn., Shakey's Pizza, Toms Toys, Porto's Bakery, Canyon Cafe,
and Karina's Cake House.
