GLENDALE -- The USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center will offer
information on everything from breast cancer prevention to surgical
techniques Saturday at Breast Health Day 2000.
The eighth annual seminar will feature a panel of breast cancer
experts who will address several topics, including imaging, nutrition and
Web-based health information, according to a news release.
"Most women in the community do not have access to the quality of
information that the doctors at USC/Norris, a leading cancer research
center, can provide," event organizer Jennifer Fagnani said.
The theme of this year's event is "On the Leading Edge."
The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel and Spa, at 1401 S. Oak Knoll Ave. in
Pasadena.
Admittance is $25 and includes lunch and valet parking. Reservations
are requested.
