BEST BET The "Ghost & Goblin Review" will run from 5 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday in the 2200 block of Honolulu Ave. in Montrose. From 5 to 7 p.m.,

children can trick-or-treat to Montrose merchants along an entire city

block. A costume contest will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. for infants and up

to age 19. Participants can register at a table in front of the Paper

TODAY Descanso Gardens Art Gallery is hosting a new exhibit from 10

a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Canada Flintridge.

Hand-painted ceramics by Sonja Campeggi and oil paintings from Frank

Lennartzt will be on display. The exhibit will run through Nov. 16 at the

The Salem Lutheran Church Women will host a fund-raiser from 3 to 9

p.m. at Shakers Restaurant, 801 N. Central Ave. Money raised will support

the group's Benevolences. Shakers is donating a percentage of food sales

The American Legion Glendale Post 127 is hosting a haunted house from

dusk to midnight at 714 W. Wilson St. The suggested donation is $3.

Parents, small children and teens are all invited. The haunted house is

open until Tuesday.

Glendale Adventist Medical Center's "Beyond Loss, A Bereavement

Ministry," holds its weekly Adult Grief Support Group at 1509 Wilson

Terrace. Paulette Chapman and Rita Patirka will counsel adults who are

experiencing any kind of loss, such as death, health, work, home, etc.

The program runs at 6 p.m. every Monday, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursdays. For more information, call the Chaplains' Department at

The Conservadores will host a "Haunted Neighborhood" from 7 to 10 p.m.

at 4414 Rockland Place in Montrose. People of all ages are invited to

come in costume and see the two oldest houses in Montrose. The cost is $5

per person. This event will run again from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. For

The second annual Halloween Scream Concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the

Hoover High School Auditorium, 651 Glenwood Road. The orchestra will

perform music from the movie, "Scream" and will perform in full costume.

TUESDAY "Passion for Pastels" exhibit will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesdays through Saturdays in Whites Art Store & Gallery, 2414 Honolulu

Ave. in Montrose. Ron Foreman of La Crescenta and Bruce Trentham of

Burbank will have "plein air" art works depicting California landscapes
