The popular free event draws large crowds and this year will be no

exception, said event organizers. Last year about 300,000 area residents

enjoyed the night lights.

As people enjoyed the lights from the comfort of their vehicles,

others braved chilly temperatures and walked throughthe one-mile stretch

of Crystal Springs Drive.

The spectacular lighted event included a drive though a lighted

tunnel, lighted representations of downtown Los Angeles, Staples Center

and the Hollywood sign.
