LA CRESCENTA - Pastor Tony Silvestri will teach at the 10:45 a.m.
service Sunday at First Baptist Church at La Crescenta, 4441 La Crescenta
Ave. The church will now have only one Sundayservice each week.
Pastor of Worship Arts Jim Jouwstra will direct the music at the
service. Coffee and doughnuts are served during a time of fellowship at
10:15 a.m.
The time is changing for Sunday school classes. They will now meet at
9:15 a.m. for adults and children. A children's choir meets from 3:30 to
5 p.m. every Thursday and is open to all children in first through sixth
grade.
Many active Women's Missionary Fellowship Circles meet monthly at the
church to find ways to support and encourage missionaries around the
world.

Sermon is 'How to Share Love'
LA CRESCENTA - The Rev. Bill Schirmer will speak on "How to Share
Love" at 10 a.m. Sunday at La Crescenta Church of Religious Science, 4845
Dunsmore Ave.
Joanna Johnson will provide musical inspiration. Church school is
offered for young people 4 through teens and child care is available.
Brunch is served after the service in Chaffee Hall.
The Course in Miracles class meets at 7 p.m. every Tuesday, and
Foundation class meets at 7 p.m. every Thursday.
Rev. Schirmer presents a weekly television series, "Greater Good for
You" on local cable television. Readings of the Rev. Dr. Ernest Holmes
are presented, as are Schirmer's Sunday services at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays
on Charter Cable television Channel 25 in Glendale. The program also airs
at 6:30 p.m. Mondays on Channel 19 in Sunland and Tujunga.
"Celebration of Spirit's Love" services will be from 7 to 8 p.m. every
Wednesday. Music and meditation will be led by Schirmer, the Rev. Beverly
Craig, the Rev. Eldon Harris and the Rev. Joanna Johnson

GLENDALE - Congregation Hugat Haverim (Circle of Friends) will have a
monthly Reform Jewish Shabbot Services at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in a
