NORTHWEST GLENDALE -- There are many people go through life

regretting things they have done or should have done.

That's no way to live, said the Rev. Joseph Shea of Holy Family

Catholic Church.

"We don't have the ability to go back and change things," Shea said.

Shea will use some of Jesus' last words -- "It is finished" -- to

illustrate his sermon about leaving regrets behind during a special

worship service on Good Friday.

Good Friday marks the day that Jesus was crucified.

The service, organized through the Glendale Religious Leaders Assn.,

will begin at noon the North Glendale United Methodist Church.

About 13 pastors from different churches throughout Glendale will take

part in the service, said the Rev. Se Hee Han, pastor at the Methodist

church.

"It's truly and interdenominational gathering," Han said.

Offerings made during the service will be donated to Meals on Wheels,

which delivers hot meals to homebound elderly.
