Glendale Memorial names board members.

GLENDALE -- Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center has

named six new members to its community board.

Dr. John Abdulian, a gastertroenterologist, is secretary/treasurer of

the hospital's medical staff. Sean Frederick Armstrong, who serves on the

Glendale Memorial Health Foundation board, is president of a capital

management firm.


Patrick A. Liddell, a Glendale Municipal Court judge pro tem, is

chairman of the Verdugo Hills Council of Boy Scouts of America, while

Melinda J. Peters is a licensed social worker.

Deirdre Pies, a senior vice president of Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks,

chairs the Glendale Unified School District's personnel commission, and

Marlene T. Roth, a strategic planner, sits on several boards, including

Soroptomist International of Glendale.

Board members are elected, and must live or work in the hospital's

service area. They are responsible for upholding the hospital's nonprofit

mission of serving the community's health needs.
