SOUTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale Police are searching for two men who
robbed Mas Liquor, taking money from the cash register and a customer's
gold necklace.
The men entered the store shortly after 8:30 a.m. Thursday, waited for
a customer to leave, then demanded money from the clerk, police said.
One of the men threatened the female worker with a handgun while the
other man held a bag for her put money into, she told police. During the
robbery, a customer walked into the store at 4106 San Fernando Road and
one of the men took her gold necklace.
The men fled the store by walking north on San Fernando Road.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Glendale
Crime Stoppers, an anonymous hotline, at 507-7867. Up to a $1,000 reward
is available upon the mens' arrests.
