obviously can't speak for Will, but I'm personally darned glad I'm not
James Rogan, much less being envious of him. And I'd bet the farm that
that's how Will feels.
One of the reasons Rogan lost to Adam Schiff is that Rogan's campaign
manager, Jason Roe, was entirely out of touch with the majority of the
district's constituency. This deficit was greatly enhanced by Roe's
belligerent, take-no-prisoners modus operandi. This clearly had to be in
tune with Rogan's arrogant lack of concern for his constituents;
otherwise he would have had every reason to fire Roe. What is even more
amazing is that Rogan has retained Roe as his political director, even
after Roe was so influential in engineering his defeat.
But the good news here is that their continuing lack of understanding
of the reasons for Rogan's loss happily assures us that Rogan has little
chance of ever winning another election in this area.
