Man shot Sunday remains critical

SOUTHEAST GLENDALE -- An elderly Glendale man remained in critical

condition Wednesday afternoon after being shot earlier this week as he

walked by a fight.

Glendale Police were still searching for a group of men who were

fighting near the intersection of Adams Street and Elk Avenue about 6

p.m. Sunday just before Armenak Nersysian, 75, was shot.

He suffered one shot to the chest, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Glendale

Police at 548-4840 or Glendale Crime Stoppers, an anonymous hotline, at

507-7867. Glendale Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000

for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
