"The Reel Black Cowboy Film Festival" begins at 10 a.m. today and

Sunday at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, 4700 Western Heritage

Way, Los Angeles. The films will feature such stars as Woody Strode,

Brock Peters, and Sammy Davis Jr. General admission is $7 and $4 for

Day at the Los Angeles Zoo, 5333 Zoo Drive, Los Angeles. Each young

visitor to the zoo will receive a free activity book. With the book,

children will visit five different reading stations throughout the zoo.

On weekends, celebrities will read their favorite books or

animal-relatedbooks to children. The celebrities will include actors,

politicians and radio/television personalities. Admission is $8.25 for

Change at 8 p.m. Listen to the blues-rock quintet perform songs from

The Writers & Authors Group meets at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday at Barnes
