GLENDALE -- The Glendale Knights travel baseball team continued their

impressive play at the Dreams Park Invitational in Cooperstown, N.Y.,

winning both of their games Monday.

The Knights -- who won the tournament in 1999 -- defeated the Eastview

Lightning, 6-2, in their first game.

two of the Knights' eight hits against the Minnesota-based team.

But the story of the game belonged to Knight pitcher Chad Nacapoy.

The 12-year-old right hander pitched a complete-game, three-hitter,

allowing two walks and striking out four.

Brett Hertz, Nacapoy, Chase Doremus, Trevor Gee, Jordan Hines and

Grant Hardyment each contributed with a hit.

Glendale returned later that day to defeat the Virginia-based

Centreville Wild Dogs, 4-2 in eight innings.

Andrew Sember's single in the top of the eighth scored Nacapoy for the

game-winning run. Michael Pech later scored on a fielder's choice to give

Glendale an insurance run as it improved its mark to 4-0.

Sember picked up his first win, pitching three innings, allowing only

one hit and no runs.
