HILARIO ALVAREZ
Hilario Alvarez, 89, a longtime Glendale resident, died Aug. 23, 2001,
in a Glendale hospital.
Mr. Alvarez was born in Cuba.
Prior to retiring, he was a carpenter for 50 years.
He is survived by his sons, Luis and Roberto, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Little Church of the Flowers,
Forest Lawn, Glendale.
GERTRUDE OVERSON LECHEMINANT
Gertrude Overson LeCheminant, 72, a former Glendale resident, died
Aug. 25, 2001, at her home in Orem, Utah.
Mrs. LeCheminant was born March 29, 1929, in Leamington, Utah.
She married Kenneth John LeCheminant in 1966 in Glendale, where they
lived until their retirement in 1991.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth John; children, Lorraine
Cachet, Sue Thompson, Joleen Law, Karen Harrison and Michelle L.
Karlinsey; stepsons, Kenneth and Marvin Le Cheminant; numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Warren and Jay Overson;
and sister, Joey Bennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Windsor 3rd
Ward Chapel, Orem, Utah.
Burial will be at Orem City Cemetery.
Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
