Peru, St. Louis, Mo., and Provo, Utah, are the destinations of four

Glendale members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

called to serve in missions.

Wesley Jones, 19, will spend two years serving in the Peru-Trujillo

Mission. Wesley was born in Glendale and is the son of Douglas and Susan

Jones. He graduated from Eagle Rock High School and has been attending

Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Christopher Morales, 19, will be serving at the Peru-Lima North

Mission. He is a graduate of Hoover High School and has been attending

Brigham Young University-Idaho. He is the son of Gloria Morales.

Shawnette Suorsa, 21, will be going to the St. Louis, Mo., Mission.

She graduated from Alhambra High School and attended Pasadena City

College. She is the daughter of Helen and David Suorsa.

Dinora Trujillo, 23, has been called to the Provo, Utah,

Spanish-Speaking Mission. Born in El Salvador, Trujillo graduated from

John Marshall High School and Glendale Community College. She is the

daughter of Martha Trujillo and the late Roberto Trujillo.

Jones, Morales, Suorsa and Trujillo will spend three to four weeks at

the Latter-day Saints Missionary Training Center in Provo before heading

for their assigned areas.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has some 60,000

missionaries serving in countries around the world.
