It's very nice to see that the rantings of a few diversity-challenged
individuals remained just that -- rantings. The likes of Mandoky and
Kussman failed to muster enough anti-Latino and anti-Armenian sentiment
to carry their "democratic" cause forward and taint our lives with their
hate.
As a veteran of Grenada and the Persian Gulf War myself, I continue to
take great offense at their audacity in claiming that they represent
veterans like myself. I, for one, do not need [them] defending any of my
interests.
Furthermore, I am also greatly disappointed in our local VFW post
leader, who lent credence to these two characters. I would respectfully
remind them that their support for such a divisive movement was nothing
less than a slap in the face of many local Latino and Armenian veterans.
All they need to do is look at today's armed forces and realize that the
boys currently defending our freedoms abroad come from every background,
color, race and country of origin.
