BEST BET: The All-American Boys' Chorus, pictured, will perform at

7:30 p.m. Saturday at The Alex Theatre, 216 N. Brand Blvd., in Glendale.

The chorus will perform in support of the Glendale City Seventh-day

Adventist Church's Endowment Ministry. Tickets range from $18 to $35, and

$150 for VIP seating, which includes an after-concert reception. For

Qigong (chi kung) is from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at

Nibley Park, 1103 E. Mountain Ave. The self-healing exercise is practiced

daily by people for health, longevity, creativity and mental clarity. The

Glendale Memorial's Cardiac Fitness Center offers big-band exercise

classes from 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on the second floor of

the Glendale Heart Center, 1420 S. Central Ave. The class is available to

anyone who wants to get fit to the sounds of Glenn Miller, '50s rock 'n'

roll and contemporary music. The class consists of aerobic dance,

resistance band strengthening and stretching and flexibility exercise.

The fee is $24 for eight sessions or $40 for 16 sessions. The first class

"Common Investment Mistakes and How to Avoid Them" is a free seminar

from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Classroom A at Glendale Adventist Medical

An orientation meeting will be from 1 to 3 p.m., at 1501 S. Brand

Blvd., for new volunteers to help at the Glendale-Crescenta Valley

Chapter of the American Red Cross. Volunteers are needed for disaster

services, armed forces services, blood drive canteen, registration,

The Brand Library Art Galleries, 1601 W. Mountain St., will show the

works of artists Gretchen Gates and Joseph Corso. The art exhibit,

"Windows and Doors," will be on display through March 1. Gallery hours are 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday and 1 to
