DOWNTOWN -- Not all talented teen singers might have the chance to be
the next Britney Spears, but with the help of the Glendale Galleria, they
might at least have the chance to meet the pop superstar.
The winner of a karaoke contest at The Zone in the Galleria today will
attend the Los Angeles "Crossroads" film premiere and mingle with
Hollywood stars.
Contestants must register between noon and 2 p.m. at The Zone, on the
third floor near Nordstrom, for the contest. Twenty participants will be
chosen to perform in front of the audience in J.C. Penney court between 2
and 4 p.m.
The audience will choose one winner.
"Crossroads" giveaways will also be handed out in The Zone between 4
and 6 p.m.
