Celtic concert will benefit Delphi

LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- Golden Bough, a musical group that performs

Celtic music of Ireland and Scotland, will perform in a special benefit

concert for Delphi Academy.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday in the La Canada High

School auditorium, 4463 Oak Grove Drive, La Canada Flintridge.

In its 22nd year of performing, Golden Bough is a favorite at Celtic

festivals and various Scottish and Irish gatherings throughout the United

States and Europe. The group's songs include haunting ballads, mythical

tales and lively sing-alongs.

Golden Bough blends voices with various instruments, including Celtic

harp, violin, viola penny whistle and more.

Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults and $8 for students. For
