Teens to get glimpse of prom fashions

SOUTHWEST GLENDALE -- The JC Penney court at the Glendale Galleria

will be the place for prom fashions Saturday.

"Seventeen's Prom Style" will begin at 1 p.m. and is open to the

public. The event will be in the JC Penney court of the Glendale

Galleria, 2148 Glendale Galleria.

The event will begin with local teens modeling the newest designs in

prom dresses, tuxedos and accessories for those who attend.

Prom attire will be provided by Windsor Fashions, Jessica McClintock,

JC Penney and Macy's.

After the fashion presentation, live music will be presented by Jive

Records pop group No Secrets, made up of five female singers. Jessica

Fried, 15, of Glendale, is a member of No Secrets and will be performing.

Jessica is a former member of Rock Theatre, a Southern California group

that performed 10 shows during the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

David Fumero, who portrays Christian Vega on the the television soap

opera "One Life to Live" will also attend Saturday's event and will sign

autographs.

Those who attend will be given "goody" bags with sponsor samples and

can register to win door prizes. The event is sponsored by the Glendale

Galleria and Seventeen Magazine.
