City's Audit Committee seeks applicants

GLENDALE -- The five-member city Audit Committee is looking for a

Glendale resident to fill its vacant position.

The committee is appointed by the City Council to serve without

compensation. Interested residents must be eligible to vote, own a

business or be employed in Glendale throughout the appointment's term.

One member of the Audit Committee will be the city treasurer and all

other members are public members. Applicants should have relevant

experience serving as a corporate officer, auditor, attorney or

professional consultant to business, government or organizations.

The term of office for the committee is three years.

Applications are due by May 1. They can be picked up from the city

clerk's office, 613 E. Broadway, Room 110. Residents should mail the

applications to the city clerk's office or fax them to 241-5386.
