LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- The city of La Canada Flintridge is accepting
applications for various commission appointments.
The following commissions have expiring appointments: Planning,
Design, Public Safety, Public Works and Traffic, Parks and Recreation and
Investment Advisory. The positions pay $50 per meeting, except for the
Investment Advisory Commission, which is voluntary.
Commission members will be appointed for a four-year term, expiring
May 31, 2006. Members may serve as many as two consecutive terms.
Applicants must be La Canada Flintridge residents.
A commission application is available at City Hall, or can be
downloaded from the city's Web site: www.lacanadaflintridge.com.
Applications must be received by the City Clerk by 5 p.m. April 30.
The City Council will schedule interviews in early May. Appointments
will be made at the June 3 City Council meeting.
