Deadline Friday for design contest

SOUTHWEST GLENDALE -- Glendale teens are invited to design their ideal

skateboard and submit their design in the Design a Deck Contest.

The deadline to submit entries for the contest is Friday.

The Design a Deck Contest is sponsored by The Zone in the Glendale

Galleria. Skateboard riders under 19 are encouraged to submit designs.

Ten finalists will be selected and the winner will be chosen May 11.

Entry forms are available in The Zone and contestants cannot be

professional artists.

The Zone is on the third level of the Glendale Galleria at 2148
