Temple Sinai to offer course on Israel

NORTHWEST GLENDALE -- Temple Sinai of Glendale will offer a course on

the history of the state of Israel next week.

The four-week class, "With Eyes Toward Zion: A Brief History of

Zionism and the State of Israel," will begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday at

Temple Sinai, 1212 N. Pacific Ave.

Tuition for the four-week class is $25.

The course will cover aspects of Zionism and the movement to establish

and support a national homeland for Jewish people in the biblical

territory of Israel and Judah.
