collapse, but began showing slow signs of improvement within the past

week.

Greco granted another year of eligibility

Former Crescenta Valley High standout Michelle Greco will get

another chance to play for the UCLA women's basketball team.

Greco, a fifth-year senior, was granted another year of

eligibility Tuesday by the Pacific 10 Conference.

She missed most of the season last year after the Bruins placed

her on injured reserve on Dec. 1 because of a history of concussions.

She still requires a medical clearance for full participation with

the team, which is expected to come soon.

The Bruins open the season Nov. 23 in the Hawaii Tournament.

Greco was the Cal-Hi State Player of the Year for the Falcons

during her senior year.
