China topic of Kiwanis presentation
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- A narrated travelogue on China will be
presented by the La Canada Kiwanis Club on Saturday.
The presentation, titled "China -- the 21st Century" opens a
series of travelogues planned by the club. The travelogue begins at
7:10 p.m. in the auditorium at Flintridge Preparatory School, 4543
Crown Ave.

Republican clubs hold open house
LA CRESCENTA -- The La Crescenta Valley Republican Women
Federated and the Foothills Republican Club are holding an open house
at their new Republican headquarters Saturday.
A drawing will be held and refreshments served. A volunteer list
will be available.
The headquarters, which are at 2512 Foothill Blvd., will open from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
