Armed man tries to rob Burger King

Glendale Police are looking for a man who robbed a Burger King

restaurant at gunpoint.

An assistant manager told police she heard a knock at the rear

door and an employee asking to be let into the restaurant, 2060

Verdugo Road, about 6:30 a.m. Monday, according to the police

report.

She let in the employee, who was followed by a man holding a gun

to her side. He demanded they open the safe, but the employees said

they had no key to the safe.

The man ran out the back door without taking anything.

A reward of up to $1,000 is available upon the robber's arrest.
