Holy Family students selected to celebrate diversity Monday

Students at Holy Family Grade School in Glendale will join nearly

3,000 Los Angeles area students at a special celebration of diversity

Monday.

More than 20 Holy Family students in grades one through eight will

attend World Mission Day at The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels,

which will include a Mass.

Students of various ethnic backgrounds will wear traditional

clothing from their respective cultural backgrounds.

Sister Mary Teresa, the school's director of religious education,

coordinated the event for Holy Family students.

The event is designed to celebrate diversity among Catholic

schools in Los Angeles.
