A shooting outside a Glendale banquet hall early Monday morning

left three people wounded, police said.

Around 12:43 a.m., police received several 911 calls reporting

gunshots in the strip mall at the corner of Chevy Chase Drive and

Verdugo Road. When they arrived, they found one man in the parking

lot with a gunshot wound to his arm.

Shortly after, they learned two other men had checked themselves

into a local hospital with gunshot wounds in the arm and hand. Sgt.

Kirk Palmer said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

All three men were apparently shot in the parking lot, Palmer

said. He had little additional information, but said police believe

the shooting stemmed from a dispute that began in the Bon Jour Cafe

and then spilled into the parking lot.

A man who said he was the manager of the Bon Jour Cafe, but

declined to give his name, said the incident occurred in the parking

lot and that there was no trouble in the restaurant. He would not say

what type of event was going on in the restaurant at the time.

The shooting took place directly across the street from Glendale

Fire Station 25. Fire Capt. Matt Luchetta said after the police had

cleared the area, firefighters went over to provide medical

assistance. He wasn't aware of any previous trouble at the

restaurant.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
