Circle of Friends has Hanukkah potluck
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- The Congregation Hugat Haverim (Circle of
Friends) will have its Shabbat services and Hanukkah potluck dinner
at 6:30 tonight in a private home in La Canada Flintridge.
Cantor Harvey Lee Block will lead the services.
Guests can bring their own Menorah.

Senior minister leads service
LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- Pastor Skip Lindeman, senior minister,
will conduct the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Church of the Lighted
Window.
Highlights of the worship hour will be the Sacraments of Holy
Communion and Christian Baptism. Nursery care is available for
infants and toddlers.

Message is 'Choose Life!'
GLENDALE -- The Rev. Bonnie Rowsell of the Glendale Church of
Religious Science will speak on "Choose Life! Choose Love! Choose
Happiness" at the 10 a.m. Sunday service.
A 15-minute meditation is at 9:30 a.m. Children's Church for those
5 to 12 is at 10 a.m. Child care is provided.
