LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- Jet Propulsion Laboratory will develop

The technology is meant to form the foundation of NASA research,

and revolves around Earth remote-sensing devices. The projects will

continents.

JPL was selected by NASA as the developer of the technologies,

which could provide a greater amount of detailed information than

past inventions.

Council honors past representatives

LA CRESCENTA -- Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Glendale), Assemblywoman Carol

Liu (D-La Canada Flintridge) and state Sen. Jack Scott (D-Glendale)

said their good-byes to the Crescenta Valley Town Council.

The officials were honored with neighbor of the month awards

Thursday by council members for their representation. All three lost

the unincorporated area due to redistricting.

The neighbor of the month award is given to those who have

dedicated time and service to the community.
