Reindeer visit the Los Angeles Zoo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily

through Wednesday at 5333 Zoo Drive, Los Angeles. On weekends, there

The Glendale Rose Float Assn. invites the community to help

volunteers decorate this year's float entry, "Enchanting Dreams,"

from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. through Monday at the Rose Palace, 835 S.

Raymond Ave., Pasadena. Children must be 13 or older. For more

Tai chi classes are from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium at

Tuesday at the Glendale Central Library, 222 E. Harvard St. Props

from various operas will be on display, including Otello, The Merry

Five artists will exhibit their works at Penelope's, 1029

Foothill Blvd. The exhibit will feature abstract painting by Gould

Allison; watercolors by Vikki Thomas; tortoise paintings by Christy

Petersen; oil on canvas by Kathy Kidd; and photography by Andy

Kitchen. The hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 8 a.m. to
