Students in Clark Magnet High School's Dance Club put three months

of hard work to the test Friday when they performed live in front of

their peers during lunchtime in the school's outdoor amphitheater.

Seven members of the school's dance club wore white and black outfits

and danced to popular songs by recording artists Britney Spears,

Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Lopez. "We made it all up,"

15-year-old Nairi Issagholian said. "Dancing together unites us, kind

of like we're a team." Clark Magnet's dance club is one of about 15

clubs the school offers either during the school day or after school.

Other student clubs at Clark Magnet include chess, engineering and

poetry.
