She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Terry
O'Loughlin of Concord.
Her husband of 49 years, Loyd Helms, died in 1978.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Crippen Mortuary.

M. EDITH MAURER
M. Edith Maurer, a Glendale resident, died Jan. 15, 2003, in a
Glendale hospital.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Burbank
and the Burbank Valley Garden Club and a volunteer for the American
Red Cross. She was a member of the Knitting & Crocheting group at
Windsor Manor. She also crocheted booties and baby caps for Glendale
Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara D. Maurer of Glendale.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn,
Hollywood Hills.
A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the First
United Methodist Church of Burbank, 700 N. Glenoaks Blvd.
A reception will follow in the Fireside Lounge a the church.
Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
HELEN LOUISE AGRATI
Helen Louise Agrati, 76, a longtime Glendale resident, died Jan.
17, 2003.
She was born and raised in Indiana.
In the 1950s, she came to California and worked as a legal
secretary.
Mrs. Agrati was a member of Childhelp, USA, and sponsored several
children through the World Vision program. She was a member of the
Coast Guard Auxiliary for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Lou; son and
daughter-in-law, Don and Ginny; daughter and son-in-law, Marilou and
Merl; three grandchildren; brothers, William, Herbert and Robert
Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Church.
Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale.
