26-year-old girlfriend in her car. The man allegedly choked her and

told her that if they broke up, he would shoot her.

* 5600 block of San Fernando Road: A 39-year-old Apple Valley man

was arrested Monday on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine.

* 400 block of West Elk Street: A 28-year-old Glendale woman was

arrested Sunday on suspicion of assaulting her husband after the two

got in a fight.

* 2100 Glendale Galleria: A 22-year-old Tujunga woman who worked

at Macy's was detained by mall security Saturday after allegedly

stealing gift cards from the store's registers. The woman allegedly

admitted using the gift cards without replacing the money.
