acting, computers, video production, and more. The highlight of the
campers summer program is, of course, the show.
Sponsored by the Burbank First United Methodist Church, this is
the fourth season of the project. It is coordinated by directors
Darrell and Jenny Bishop and their production team.
More than 250 Show Campers were put through a Broadway- style
vocal and dance audition in June. After the more than 120 children
were cast in the choir, an open call adult audition was held to cast
the principal roles.
Nick Palance is Joseph, Erin Workman is the Narrator, and a
multiethnic cast of brothers and wives complete the adult ensemble.
Show times are 2 and 7:30 tonight and 2 p.m. Sunday at The Alex
Theatre, 216 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. Tickets are $12 to $17. For
information, call 243-2539 or go online at www.alextheatre.org.
