by Noel Peterson's third-place finish, the Tologs swept Thursday's

Mission League double dual meet at Elysian Park.

Peterson covered the three-mile course in 21 minutes 15 seconds

for Flintridge Sacred Heart (4-1, 3-0 in league), which is ranked No.

3 in CIF Southern Section Division IV.

Christina Snider clocked 22:02 to finish fourth for the Tologs.

Rebecca Graves (fifth, 22:04), Joanne So (sixth, 22:07) and Tomoka

Ota (ninth, 22:55) ran well for the Tologs.

BOYS' WATER POLO

Lake Forest El Toro 18, Glendale 2: The Nitros fell to 4-8 with

Thursday's loss in the Villa Park Tournament at Placentia El Dorado

High.

Hayk Avagyan and Arthur Bagumyan managed the only two goals for

Glendale against El Toro, the No. 3-ranked team in CIF Southern

Section Division I.

GIRLS' TENNIS

San Marino 11, La Canada 7: The Spartans won five sets in doubles,

including two each from Valerie Chen and Lana Sanfilippo, and Leslie

Chang and Diana Kim, but it wasn't enough in Thursday's Rio Hondo

League opener at the La Canada Country Club.

For La Canada (1-7, 0-1 in league), Lindsay Van Amringe and Amanda

Yue each won in singles.
