Pumpkins, princesses, fairies, a blue puppy, a hippie, Harry Potter

and the Incredible Hulk got together Thursday to enjoy some safe,

therapeutic Halloween fun. Glendale Adventist Medical Center's

Pediatric Therapy Center hosted a Halloween party for its patients

with crafts and treats and an obstacle course in the auditorium.

Therapists dressed as puppies, tigers, cats, cows and parrots watched

over the children as they jumped into tires and slid down slides. The

center provides physical and similar therapies to children diagnosed

with disorders from autism to Down's syndrome to cerebral palsy. "I

think it's great," said Clair Kelly, whose 4-year-old son, Blaze,

dressed up as Peter Pan. "They're in familiar surroundings and they

can get therapy and still have fun. It's a safe way to enjoy

Halloween."
