Sentencing for accused driver delayed while jury deliberates

November 06, 2003

The sentencing for the girl accused of driving the getaway car for

Raul Aguirre's alleged killers was postponed again while the jury

goes into its ninth day of deliberating.

Anait Msryan, 17, pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted murder

in a plea bargain with the district attorney. Msryan testified on

behalf of the state about the events of May 5, 2000, when Aguirre was

stabbed and beaten to death in front of Hoover High School.
