Barden named to Prep League first team
Ramses Barden -- who helped the Flintridge Prep football team
capture the CIF Southern Section-Toyota Division XIII championship
Saturday -- was selected to the All-Prep League first team offense.
Barden, a senior wide receiver, caught a school-record 41 passes
for 905 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Vagenas to hold soccer camp for area youth
Pete Vagenas, a 1996 St. Francis graduate, will hold a soccer camp
from Dec. 29-30 at Friedman Field. Vagenas plays for the L.A. Galaxy
Major League Soccer team.
The camp will cover individual skills and tactics. Galaxy players
will speak on both days.
The cost of the camp is $95 and space is limited. Each attendee
will receive a T-shirt and soccer ball.

Christmas trees.

Baseball camp to be conducted at Stengel
The sixth annual Crescenta Valley Baseball camp will be held Dec.
29-30 at Stengel Field.
The purpose of the event is to teach fundamentals in hitting,
fielding and running. High school and college coaches will be on hand
to serve as instructors.
The cost is $65 per person.
