Search warrant yields suspected cocaine dealer

Police serving an arrest warrant Tuesday on a Glendale man wanted for

presenting false identification to police discovered he was allegedly

selling cocaine from his parents' apartment.

Jonathan Lee, 29, refused to cooperate with Glendale Police

vice/narcotics officers when they first contacted him about 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Glendale Police Detective Mark Hess said. Lee would not

allow officers to search his family's apartment in the 300 block of


West Wilson Avenue, but officers smelled marijuana and saw smoking

paraphernalia, so they requested a search warrant.

A quarter-ounce of cocaine valued at $2,300 on the street was

found in Lee's bedroom along with digital scales, packaging material

and paperwork indicating sales, Hess said.

Lee was freed Tuesday after posting $7,000 bail, according to jail
