The city of Glendale's Community Development Block Grant Advisory

Committee will meet from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Verdugo Jobs


Center, 1255 S. Central Ave. Public comment is invited at 12:20 p.m.

and 5:10 p.m. The committee will consider proposals from city

departments and community agencies for social service programs that

benefit low- and moderate- income Glendale residents.

Glendale Memorial Hospital presents the Stanford Chronic Disease

Program from 9 a.m. until noon every Wednesday through March 10 at

MOMS Club of Glendale West meets at 10 a.m. at the Red Cross

building, 1501 S. Brand Blvd. Club activities include service

projects, age appropriate play groups, field trips and moms' time

The West Glendale Kiwanis Club meets at noon Wednesdays at the

Glendale Masonic Lodge, 244 N. Maryland Ave. Tom Burroughs will
